Fun Spanish atmosphere. Good menu variety... breakfast, lunch special until 4...,open till 10 Pm. I always order the fish soup to GO(I am 57... trying to keep my weight down)...MMMMM....YUMY...Great service.

The food here is awesome! Tastes just like homemade Cuban Cuisine. Decent prices and decent portions. Service was fast and friendly, I love local mom and pop type eateries and the Black Bean Cafe did not dissapoint!

Very friendly and clean...the food is excellent and the service is great. I love the Authentic Cuban food. It's hard to find restaurants that have employees that will go out of their way to assist someone in a wheelchair. Thank you BBC! Happy customer since 2013.

Always good and hot food, it doesn't matter whether its a sandwich or a plate of food. Never disappointed here. Waitresses are nice and efficient.

I felt like I was at home eating dinner. The restaurant is old,but very clean. The staff was quick to take our order and get the food out to the table.The food,it was alot served and it tasted GREAT. I will be setting there more often.

Great food. Amazing service. This little (authentic) Cuban Cafe is worth to visit. We went there during dinner time (party of 12) and we seated fast after some tables arrangement. Server very helpful explaining the food selections. The food served fast and taste very good. Make sure save some space for desert(s)

This is definitely a place I will visit again. They had such amazing food and even better prices. I chose the steak and eggs with potatoes and a cafe con leche. The food was cooked to perfection and came out so fast. Restaurant was very clean and had a great vibe to it. Outstanding service and such a great location.

Our family has been going here for years and it's definitely very underrated!! The food is consistently delicious and the portions have remained big over the years. The staff is so sweet and accommodating, even with kids or a large group. Please call to order takeout during this time so they can stay open forever and I can continue to eat their delicious food in the future.Our go to order is ropa vieja and bistec de pollo with a pitcher of sangria.

We ordered takeout and ended up with the worst cuban sandwiches we’ve ever had. They were half thrown together with the bread and cheese sticking to the container and meat falling out, the pork was dry & crispy, barely a dab of mustard and they forgot our pickles. On BOTH sandwiches. They definitely didn’t care about the presentation of their food or getting our order correct. I truly love to support local businesses but I definitely won’t be going here again.

An unassuming Cuban restaurant serving authentic fare to the neighborhood. Great service. Sopa de pollo, medianoche sandwich, and Ropa Veija were all delicious; the prices were fair, portions were generous, and the food arrived quickly. Would definitely return.

A local fave of ours! Food is delicious for my picky palleted fam and very affordable, especially for the portion sizes! We love it & would come once or twice a week when we lived closer. It’s THAT good!

The service was in Top Notch but at the same time they were not rude. The food however is a different story it was absolutely phenomenal at very reasonable prices and generous portions. I would definitely recommend eating here but maybe call ahead and order the food to go.

Best little restaurant in Broward County for a Latin fix of delicious meals. Had cafe con leche that was so good and flavorful. Had fillet of snapper with black beans, rice and plantains. So good!

Went here the other night only cause I had a coupon from all state rewards. The food was bland and the service rude. That was on top of them not honoring the coupon. Waste of time and money.

I think they nickel and dime the customers when the really don't need to. After three refills of ice tea your being charged for another. Also the won't substitute American coffee for Cafe Con Leche. Basically you still pay for the American coffee and encourage you for the Cuban coffee or population period no discount. Like I said nickel-and-dime you.

Ms Angie was polite, efficient, served quickly, food tasted good to my palate. Most servers are Spanish speaking but there's always an English speaking person available. This restaurant has been here for almost or maybe over 20 years ...good Hispanic/Cuban food.

Nice little place. Food was excellent and the service was on point. I recommend the pollo empanisado and ropa vieja. The tamal con lechon was delightful as well. Fresh squeezed oj as well.

Amazing food for an even better price. Every time I go, I get the carne Asada. Highly recommend! Service could be better, and they speak very little English, but the great food and pricing makes up for it tenfold. Love this place for a good lunch.

Found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. first impression the place is very cozy and small but in a good way. if you don't want to be in a big crowded restaurant . the service was great. waitresses were very attentive and nice. food was pretty good. my husband had Bistec Milanesa which he loved. I had pan con Bistec which was very good as well. bread was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside . had Cafe con Leche to end the dinner with tres leches which was good nothing out of this world . overall for the price this place is good for a quick Cuban fix here in hollywood since there aren't many good cheap Cuban place to dine in. would recommend to everyone who enjoys a good place to eat without the fine dining atmosphere.

Small hole in the wall place but food is always fresh and they have great lunch specials.

I called to place an order over the phone, the lady spoke PERFECT English. What I wanted thwy did not have so I was in the middle of placing an order for something else and she hung up in my face. I called back, the same lady answered the phone, now she doesn't speak a no english.. You have got to be kidding me. I was told Spanish ppl are nasty towards Black customers but where is that behavior acceptable.

Stopped here and what a find! This is one of the most authentic Cuban spots I've visited in a while. Prices were affordable, food was delicious and the service was Outstanding!!
